ABT's Fall Gala Toasts the New Ballet Lifted

Guess who’s back? On Thursday night the American Ballet Theatre returned to Lincoln Center for its Fall Season with a glittering gala at the David H. Koch Theater.

The black-tie affair — which featured a seated dinner and a dance floor — celebrated the world premiere of Lifted, a new ballet from Christopher Rudd. The show features an all-Black cast and creative team, with music by Carlos Simon and costumes by Carly Cushnie.
