For 15 years, the behemoth photo agency BFA has captured black tie galas, global Fashion Week runways, award ceremonies and every party that’s worth posting a photo from. To say BFA knows a great party is an understatement. To toast their milestone, Stephanie Ketty, BFA’s VP of global business development, organizes a special dinner. Naturally, photos were (very) allowed.
Camera-ready, I arrive at Jean’s and see friends Fran Martin (in a sparkling Versace bomber) and Bailey Jane. Audrey Hilfiger of Audrey in the Garden designed the tablescapes and a Polaroid camera is being passed around. We feast on oysters, burgers and for dessert: giant chocolate chip cookies. I’m seated with Margaret Short, Ashwin Deshmukh (owner of Jean’s) and Neil Rasmus, one BFA’s four founders.
Stephanie beams as she tells me: “Hosting this dinner for those who give their all to the fashion industry feels like the perfect way to celebrate our 15th year in business. 15 years of BFA is about the people who have made this journey so meaningful. These dinners bring together the creative minds who shape the industries we serve—from fashion and art to hospitality and beyond. The magic happens when different worlds come together, share ideas, and build lasting relationships.” Of course, the entire night is captured by BFA. As I like to say, if it isn’t on BFA did it even happen?
