What those posters you’ve seen all over New York are all about
As the presidential election barrels ahead, Daybreaker (the early morning sober dance party movement that was founded in NYC and has over 800,000 members) has launched the Purple Tour, “uniting red, blue and everything in between” with 50 events in 15 states. “We asked ourselves how we could contribute to these elections,” says Daybreaker founder Radha Agrawal. “Civic engagement can often feel like going to the DMV – and not the wild celebration of the opportunity to decide who leads our country – to have a real voice. This is our answer: let’s party to the polls.” On their site, Daybreaker has an easy link for voters to register.
On September 17th, which is National Voter Registration Day, Daybreaker’s Purple Tour takes over Sony Hall from 6am-9am. Get tickets HERE.
