With its stated goals of spotlighting women’s contributions to film, literature, and photography, Women in Motion’s event and the guests gathered to support it seemed very on brand. No less than Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon themselves set the stage at the screening of their iconic film—decades before #metoo—and the glamorous crowd then trekked to Graydon Carter’s Monkey Bar for a dinner that stretched deep into the night.
