“The fashion is as eclectic as the collections from the galleries–and from what I can see, they’re all are top notch,” said Alden Hawkins of Young Collectors Night at the Winter Show. Held annually at the Park Avenue Armory, Young Collectors Night brought together an art-focused mix of young professionals, artists and design enthusiasts. Guests surveyed each other while not surveying rooms filled with antiques and artifacts: from all evidence, acquisition was the theme of the night.
The evening benefitted the East Side House Settlement, an organization that brings education and workforce development programs underserved New Yorkers. “It’s a great mix of personalities,” said Brawleigh Alexander Graham of the evening. “It brings a lot of people together because we are all inspired by the same beautiful things.”
