After three long years, the American Ballet Theatre finally held its annual June Gala on Monday at the Metropolitan Opera House, kicking off the company’s summer season.
This year’s gala celebrated artistic director Kevin McKenzie, who is set to retire in December. The evening featured a performance of Don Quixote, staged by McKenzie, a seated dinner, and dancing.
