Fashion and art fetes were all over the East End this week. Clothing brand Favorite Daughter held two events to celebrate its East Coast launch: a trunk show at Fivestory’s Southampton outpost on Tuesday; then, on Wednesday, its founders (and sisters) Erin and Sarah Foster hosted a soiree at a private residence in East Hampton.
The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill held back-to-back Midsummer events. Things kicked off with a dance party Friday night, featuring a DJ set from LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. On Saturday, the museum hosted a cocktail party and seated dinner in honor of Tomashi Jackson’s exhibit The Land Claim. Jackson herself was not at the event, but sent a video which was played during dinner.
On Sunday, The Colony Hotel brought of a bit of Palm Beach to Southampton with a party at Christie’s gallery.
