A team of hospitality heavyweights just opened Le Crocodile, a brasserie in Williamsburg’s Wythe Hotel serving up such French staples as roast chicken, steak frites, and escargot.
Jon Neidich of Golden Age Hospitality, who is known for his other New York spots Acme and Happiest Hour, teamed up with chefs Jake Leiber and Aidan O’Neal of Chez Ma Tante fame on the new restaurant. So far, Le Crocodile is only open for dinner, but lunch and brunch offerings will arrive this spring.
The sizable bar features a range of classic cocktails on an extensive menu created by veteran bartender Jim Kearns. The offerings also include a various gin and tonic combinations, like a Hendricks Gin with Cucumber Tonic and a Tanqueray cocktail with Citrus tonic.
