On Thursday, the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center was dripping with flowers to celebrate the New York City Ballet’s Spring Gala. The night raised a record-breaking $3.45 million.
In addition to wining and dining, guests were treated to NYCB performances, including the world premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s From You Within Me, featuring music by Arnold Schoenberg, and scenery and costumes by Kylie Manning, as well as a world premiere of Alysa Pires’s debut, Standard Deviation, which featured a score by Jack Frerer and costumes by Dana Osborne. Justin Peck’s The Times Are Racing, with music by Dan Deacon and costumes by Humberto Leon, was also performed.
The black-tie affair also included a number of fabulous outfits worn by those in attendance. Scroll to see our favorites.
