A chic Brazilian crowd — dressed as if they had just stepped off the runway (in this case, the runway being Teterboro) – descended upon Madison Avenue for the grand opening of the first NYC showroom for artefacto, the renowned interiors company by way of São Paulo and Miami. Guest included Brazilian design luminary Sig Bergamin, supermodel Taylor Hill and New York’s design elite.
Known for designing and staging hotspots– from world-class hotels to private clubs and ultra-luxury residences like the Porsche Design Tower, Casa Cipriani and Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc – artefacto’s arrival on the New York design scene comes highly anticipated. The Manhattan flagship is their 30th worldwide.

The stunning showroom is situated at the epicenter of the NYC design universe at 149 Madison Avenue, a stone’s throw from B&B Italia and Liaigre. The showroom’s interior is the perfect canvas to showcase artefacto’s sophisticated furnishings, with the walls adorned by works from renowned artists like Carlos Araujo, Roberto Cimino, and Jorge Mayet.

Leading artefacto’s expansion into New York are third-generation 28-year-old twins, Pietro and Bruno Bacchi, who are also the new faces of the company. The twins, featured in the brand’s upcoming campaigns for Vogue and Architectural Digest, are poised to carry their family’s legacy by making a bold statement in the New York design and real estate world.
