“I’m pulling back the curtain on my real life and showing more of who I am.” – Brooks Marks

Bravo’s new show “Next Gen NYC” stars already social media famous kids like Brooks Marks and Ava Dash. ALEXANDER HANKIN, who has known the cast for years, hits the premiere party.
Most of my friends are children of the “Real Housewives” shows on Bravo. But tonight is especially surreal when I step into a room full of friends and realize—wow, they’re all on TV.
Welcome to the premiere bash for Bravo’s new celebutot reality show “Next Gen NYC.” I beeline for the Marks family – Meredith Marks from the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” husband Seth, daughter Chloe, son Reid, and of course, Brooks, the star of “Next Gen NYC.” I’ve known the Marks for years. If they’re the Brady Bunch, I’m their cousin Arthur. Brooks, a budding fashion designer, tells me: “I feel like my personality, my life, me – what everyone’s seen so far is just a tiny snapshot. I’m pulling back the curtain on my real life and showing more of who I am.”
“I share a lot on social media, but the show’s going to reveal more – my relationship, the deeper parts of my life.” – Emira D’Spain

I chat with another “Next Gen NYC” star, the content creator Emira D’Spain, who boasts a huge social media following. “Viewers should be excited to see a different side of me,” she says. “I share a lot on social media, but the show’s going to reveal more – my relationship, the deeper parts of my life. It’s going to be really cool for my fans and even for people who don’t know me yet.”

I spot more “Next Gen NYC” stars like Ariana Biermann (daughter of “Real Housewives Atlanta” star Kim Biermann) and her boyfriend Hudson McLeroy. “There’s a lot of honesty and truth in this show. You’ll get to see more of what my life’s really been like over the past few years, Ariana says. “I’m so excited to share that.” I ask about Riley Burruss, the daughter of “Real Housewives Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss. Ariana laughs. “She didn’t want to deal with this, so she went to China,” she says. I peek at Instagram and see Riley striking a Buddha pose, totally carefree and miles away from the madness and drama.
“There’s a lot we usually keep private and now everyone gets to see it.” – Ava Dash

The model Ava Dash, daughter of Damon Dash and designer Rachel Roy, says “Expect to see me just having fun with my friends and family. There’s a lot we usually keep private and now everyone gets to see it. We didn’t take ourselves too seriously, and honestly, it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The party starts to blow up on TikTok. The “Next Gen NYC” cast is a colorful mix: Charlie Zakkour (who recently made headlines with a crypto kidnapping scandal), Gia Giudice and her infamous mother Teresa Giudice of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” and Georgia McCann (who did two outfit changes). But this isn’t just a nepo-baby reality show. It’s fabulous. It’s filled with depth, humor, and of course major drama.
