After taking a break over the holiday weekend, New Yorkers were back on the party scene this week. Meanwhile, the art world headed south to Art Basel Miami Beach.

On Thursday, the annual Basel Brunch was hosted at The Standard Spa in Miami in honor of Derrick Adams.

Later Thursday night, Chanel hosted a cocktail party to celebrate its new boutique in Miami’s Design District.

On Wednesday, Sotheby’s celebrated Luxury Week (its current series of online auctions for jewelry, watches, handbags, wine, and more) with a private dinner at its Manhattan headquarters.

On Tuesday night, Parrish Next Council and Larry Milstein hosted a cocktail party the Miami Beach EDITION during Art Basel.

Also on Tuesday, Serpentine Galleries teamed up with YoungArts and Rolls Royce to host a dinner celebrating Miami Art Week at The Jewel Box.

Meanwhile, in New York on Tuesday, Flora Collins celebrated her debut novel, Nanny Dearest. The evening featured Collins in conversation with Jill Kargman.
