It’s been three long years, but on Monday night the World Monument Fund’s Hadrian Gala returned to the Rainbow Room in all its glory.
This year’s honorees included Dr. Elizabeth Alexander, Suzanne Deal Booth, and Christian Louboutin, who were celebrated for their devotion to preserving cultural and historical monuments, and empowering local communities.
Photo by BFADespite the rain blocking out 30 Rock’s glorious view of NYC, guests — who were asked to wear red-inspired black tie — still enjoyed cocktails, small bits, and a seated dinner.
As the evening concluded, Christie’s held a live auction to raise funds in support of the WMF’s work at global cultural heritage sites.
