The weather could not have been more perfect for a spring party. Last night, the New York City Ballet hosted its annual Spring Gala. The evening kicked off with a reception, giving guests a chance to enjoy the beautiful day, a drink or two, and the views of Lincoln Center from the David H. Koch Theater’s terrace.
The black-tie affair kicked off the NYCB’s Stravinsky Festival, now in its 50th year. Performances from the night showcased students from the School of American Ballet, and featured Silas Farley’s choreographic debut.
Dinner followed the show, after which guests got an opportunity to do some dancing themselves. Overall, the event raised $2.6 million for the organization.
